Refund for Tickets Purchased for UTS Hong Kong 2025 to be held on 14 – 15 October 2025 (“Event”)
Due to recent changes to the original match lineup, the organizer has announced a special ticketing arrangement which provides a reimbursement option for ticket holders now not wishing to attend. Fans with pre-purchased and unused tickets have the option to apply for a reimbursement for the face value of the ticket before 4:00 PM 14 October 2025.
General and amount of refund
- These Terms and Conditions are applicable only to tickets for the Event purchased via the official ticketing platforms, HK Ticketing, China Travel Services (Hong Kong) and Fliggy. A full refund will be issued to purchasers who bought their tickets through HK Ticketing, China Travel Services (Hong Kong) and Fliggy. Tickets obtained through any other channels including secondary marketplaces, unauthorized resellers, or other unofficial sources, are not eligible for refund under these Terms and Conditions. Acceptance of Refund is subject to the information as submitted in the application are identical to the record of HK Ticketing.
To request a refund for UTSHK, applicant should complete the Refund Registration Form with all required information. Each submission can only be used to register for the refund of one ticket. If applicants need to request refunds for multiple tickets, please submit a separate form for each.

Items not eligible for refund and/or compensation
- The following are not eligible for refund:
- Tickets to the All-Star Game on 13 October, 2025.
- Complimentary tickets to the Event on 14 or 15 October, 2025.
- Other fees including handling fees, service fees, processing fees, and any other additional charges, including those incurred from currency conversions.
- In addition to the above, there will be no compensation for any fees, costs, or expenses associated with the Event including but not limited to travel, accommodations, food, beverage.
Deadline and process for refund
- The refund will only be given to purchasers holding tickets eligible for the Refund who accept these Terms and Conditions using HK Ticketing, China Travel Services (Hong Kong) and Fliggy.
- The deadline for applying for the refund is 14 October, 2025 4:00PM (HK time).
- Any failure to apply for the stipulated deadline will result in the forfeiture of your right to the refund entirely. No refunds will be processed after the stipulated deadline.
- Refunds will be credited to your original form of purchase.
- For tickets purchased by credit card via HK Ticketing: A full refund (only ticket value) will be automatically deposited to the same Credit Card account used for ticket purchase within 45 working days from 14 October 2025.
- For tickets purchased through China Travel Service (Hong Kong) and Fliggy, refund arrangements will be announced separately.
- Refunds will be processed within 45 days from the deadline of 14 October, 2025. The refund processing period may differ depending on the recipient’s bank policy and process.
- Tickets will be refunded in Hong Kong dollars (HK$) only. Any currency exchange gains or losses shall be the responsibility of the customer and will not be borne by the organizer.
Final settlement and release of claims
- Upon receiving the refund, you agree that you will not seek any additional refund or compensation for any losses howsoever incurred and in whatsoever nature, occasioned by, arising out of or in connection with this Event.
Further, you hereby irrevocably release and absolutely forever discharge UTS and its respective assigns, agents, affiliates, representatives, officers, directors, shareholders, partners, attorneys, and employees (collectively, the “UTS”) from any and all claims, demands, debts, liabilities, obligations, accounts, and causes of action of every kind and nature whatsoever and howsoever arising, whether now known or unknown, suspected or unsuspected, occasioned by, arising out of or in connection with the Event, which you had, now have or will have against the UTS or any of them (“Claims”), such that you shall have no Claim of any kind or nature whatsoever on or against the UTS, or any of them, directly or indirectly, on any contract or account, whether expressed in writing or otherwise, or implied in fact or by law, or on any alleged obligation, whether expressed in writing or otherwise, or arising out of the operation of law, or thing or act undertaken, done, or omitted to be done, at any time prior to the date hereof.
Representation, warranty and indemnity
- By receiving the Refund, you represent and warrant that in compliance with the Terms and Conditions of your initial purchase of the ticket(s) for the Event from HK Ticketing, China Travel Services (Hong Kong) and Fliggy, you have not re-sold or transferred in whatsoever manner any or all of the tickets originally purchased from HK Ticketing, China Travel Services (Hong Kong) and Fliggy to friends, family, or any third parties (“Parties”).
- In the event that you have re-sold or transferred in whatsoever manner any or all of the tickets originally purchased from HK Ticketing, China Travel Services (Hong Kong) and Fliggy to any Parties, in breach of the Terms and Conditions of your initial purchase of the ticket(s) for the Event from HK Ticketing, China Travel Services (Hong Kong) and Fliggy, you hereby undertake to indemnify, defend and hold harmless the UTS, or any of them, from and against any and all claims of every kind and nature whatsoever and howsoever arising from such Parties, occasioned by, arising out of or in connection with the Event.
Governing law
- These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Hong Kong.
- This Terms and Conditions (T&Cs) is written in English and Chinese language. The English version of this T&Cs shall prevail in the event of any inconsistency between the English version and the Chinese version.
