Overview

The School Sports Programme (SSP) is organised by various National Sports Associations (NSAs) and subvented by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department (LCSD). The implementation of the SSP is coordinated by the LCSD and the activities are co-organised by the Education Bureau (EDB), the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) and the Hong Kong Baptist University (HKBU). The target groups of the SSP are students of primary, secondary and special schools. The SSP activities are organised in line with the daily schedule of schools so that students can participate in the activities within the school environment during their leisure time.

 

Joint Schools Sports Training Programme

Assessment Details
Joint Schools Tennis Training Programme Assessment 2024  

Purpose: To offer students who have potentials and aspire to make progress in tennis sustainable and systemic training, so as to enhance their skills.

Date: 17/3/2024 (Sunday)
Time: 2-6 pm
Venue: Kowloon Tsai Park (Tennis Courts)

*Remarks:

Applicants should send the completed enrolment form together with a crossed cheque f or the payment of activity fee (made payable to “ The Hong Kong , China Tennis Association Limited ” with the school name and the name of the applicant written on the back) in person or by mail to the School Sports Programme Unit, 1/F, Leisure and Cultural Services Headquarters, 1 3 Pai Tau Street, Sha Tin on or before 8 March 2024 . Please mark on the envelope “Joint School Tennis Training Programme”. Late applications will not be processed.

Objectives

To nurture students’ interest in sports so as to foster a sporting culture on school campuses;
to encourage students to participate in sports on a regular basis and develop a healthy and active lifestyle;
to raise the sport performance standard among students; and

Easy Sport Competitions 2024

Objectives:

To offer participants of the Easy Sport Programme - Mini-Tennis under the School Sports Programme (SSP) more opportunities for exchanges of skills and experience with a view to cultivating their interest in Mini-Tennis, enhancing their skills and enriching their competition experience.

Eligibility: Primary Schools who have ever joined Easy Sports program from 1 September 2022 to 31 December 2023
