Dao won the Hong Kong Grass Court Championships in 1958 and finished runner-up three times in 1952, 1953, and 1961. He was also a runner-up in mixed doubles at the Hong Kong Hardcourt Championships together with Mrs. E. Tsok in 1952. At the CRC Open, he claimed five men’s singles titles in 1949, 1950, 1953, 1956, and 1961, which puts him third all-time behind only Ip Koon Hung with 11 and Tau Luu with 8.
