Overview
The Stars of the Future is a beginners’ programme for kids between the ages of 5 to 12. It consists of five stages, starting with a Challenge Day for newcomers to have a taste of the sport. The next three stages are dedicated to training, starting off with the basics in Stage 1 and progressively more advanced in Stages 2 and 3. First launched in 1992 with the help of former French Open champion, Michael Chang, the Stars of the Future is an invaluable player identification programme to help nurture talented local tennis player at a young age.

The courses from July to August will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis, application deadline: 30 Jun, 2026, 3 pm.
Notes to Participants:
- The latest acceptance list will be updated every Friday at 6 pm. starting from the beginning of the application period. No further announcements will be made.
- An administration fee of $100 will be levied for any application cancellation after the deadline. No transfer of the quota or refund is allowed.
- An extra administration fee of $100 will be levied for each application received after the enrolment deadline
- Please note that refunds are not available for lessons canceled due to inclement weather conditions. We will arrange make-up classes only if the courts are available.

Overview
Training will be cancelled once the typhoon signal No. 8 or above is hoisted, or after a Black Rainstorm Warning signal is announced. If typhoon signal No. 3 or below is hoisted, please contact the coach-in-charge to check the latest training arrangements.
If the coach decides to go ahead with the training on rainy days, parents/guardians are advised to remain at the courts. In case of the weather condition worsening, and the coach being forced to cancel the lesson, the parents/guardians should pick up their kids immediately. HKCTA shall not be responsible for the safety of any child after the coach has cancelled the lesson.
