The PPA Asia 1500, Hang Seng Bank Hong Kong Slam 2026 press conference held today (August 25) announced an overwhelming response—all registration slots are officially filled, proving pickleball’s explosive popularity in Hong Kong!

As a supporting organisation for the event, Mr. Michael Cheng, President of the Hong Kong, China Tennis Association, attended the press conference and shared his insights on the development of pickleball in Hong Kong, “As an important sporting body advancing the institutionalised and professional development of pickleball in Hong Kong and as a full member of the Global Pickleball Federation, we believe that the PPA Asia 1500, Hang Seng Bank Hong Kong Slam 2026, marks an important milestone in the sport’s local development. Bringing world-class players to Kai Tak Arena not only showcases the growing appeal of pickleball, but also further strengthens Hong Kong’s position as a regional hub for tennis and emerging racquet sports.”

The Hang Seng Bank Hong Kong Slam 2026 will take place from 19 to 25 October at the Kai Tak Arena, Kai Tak Sports Park. Tickets will go on public sale at 9am on 10 September.
