Hong Kong Come Second After 2 Successful Weeks In The ITF Under 14 Tournaments In Vietnam
Following on from the high standard of tennis that the under 14 team displayed in the 2 ITF under 14 tournaments in Vietnam, the Hong Kong team ended up in second place, following Korea who took top spot.
In the boys’ event, it was Kyle Tang who received the highest points for Hong Kong, ending up in 14th place and contributing 73 points to the end total. For the girls’, both Cody Wong and Jenny Wong enjoyed huge success in both weeks. Cody Wong ended up in 3rd place with 380 points, while Jenny Wong ended up in 5th place with 260 points.
After the combination of both boys’ and girls’ points, Hong Kong ended up second place with 723 points. Korea stormed through with a massive 1435 points. China came third with 665 points and India in fourth with 637 points. Hong Kong also beat Thailand, Philippines, Uzbekistan, Vietnam and Indonesia.
