The Hong Kong Tennis Champions Cup 2009
 The Hong Kong Tennis Champions Cup 2009 in Association with Auto Sportiva Limited will take place from January 12-18 at the Clearwater Bay Golf & Country Club. While the men's singles and doubles events will continue to be the centrepieces of this annual tennis extravaganza, the popular Ladies' Doubles Challenge in addition to the Parent & Child Doubles will continue to compliment the blue riband events this year.
Since the inauguration of the Clearwater Bay Indoor Doubles Classic in 2003, the ever-expanding event has now evolved to become The Hong Kong Tennis Champions Cup, which showcases the territory's top tennis players with a total prize purse of HK$270,000 on offer.

The men's singles and doubles are scheduled for the weekend of January 16-18 (Fri - Sun), while the Ladies' Doubles Challenge will start earlier in the week from January 12-15 (Mon - Thur). The Parent & Child Doubles is to be played over the final two days, i.e. January 17-18 (Sat & Sun).
Qualifying criteria for the Men's Singles are the winners of the three local majors (SCAA Open, CRC Open, HK National Tennis Championships), plus the top 3 players in accordance to the HK National Rankings, and two wildcards.
The Men's Doubles field will constitute sixteen top players, but by invitation only.
Players who will be competing include Yu Hiu Tung, Goran Bosalevski, Henry So, Stephen So, Philip King, Brian Hung, and Jonathan Chu, to name just a few, as results from the CRC Open and HK National Tennis Championships before the season's end would have a bearing on the composition of the final line-up for both the singles and doubles events.
