Background

The Hong Kong National Tennis Championships is the pre-eminent domestic tennis event organised by the HKTA, and the first of three local major championships contested annually in the territory besides the SCAA Open and the CRC Open. All events at the Hong Kong National Tennis Championships carry Hong Kong National Ranking Points.

Past champions include the likes of Mark Bailey, Colin Grant, Michael Walker, Des Tyson, Shane Barr, Michael Brown, Andrew Town, Yu Hiu Tung, and Martin Sayer, etc, for the men; and Paulette Moreno, Tang Min, Olivia Gravereaux, Lam Po Kuen, and Venise Chan, etc, for the ladies.

Events on offer include Men's & Ladies' Open Singles, Men's & Ladies' Open Doubles, Mixed Doubles, Men's B Singles & Doubles, and Ladies' B Singles & Doubles.
