HKTA Coach Certification Scheme In view of the need for quality coaches and a growing demand for certified tennis coaches, the HKTA collaborated with the International Tennis Federation (ITF), the World Governing Body of Tennis, to embark on a series of high-level certification courses for coaches here in Hong Kong in 2003. The HKTA Coach Certification Scheme consists of three levels of coach certifications — Mini-Tennis, Elementary, and Development.  Depending on the number of applicants, priority may be given to primary and secondary school teachers in some courses, otherwise, enrolment is on a first-come-first-served basis.
