The Hong Kong Tennis Association is saddened to learn of the death of Ken Catton on Wednesday 3rd October in France. Ken was a former President of the Association from 1972 until 1977 and will be sorely missed by the Hong Kong Tennis world. In 2003 Ken was inaugurated into the HKTA Hall of fame in recognition of the many years he had devoted to Hong Kong tennis, and especially for bringing professional tennis to Hong Kong and increasing the interest of so many Hong Kong people in the game. Ken has since his retirement to France, been seen each year in Hong Kong helping his son’s Brian and Terry run the Ladies Challenge that is organized in January.
We send our deep condolences to his family.
