We've had an overwhelming response from kids all over town applying to become ballpersons at next January's Watsons Water Champions Challenge. While most of these tennis enthusiasts and aficionados meet the standard required, there are only a handful of openings available. We would like to thank all those who took part at the Ballpersons' Selection Session last Sunday. For those who don't get a chance to go, keep your head up, keep working at it, and keep your fingers crossed, as there will be lots of tournaments and events coming up next year that would require lots more ballboys.

Dr Margaret Cheng, the ballpersons' supervisor for the Watson's Water Champions Challenge 2005 reiterated: "They all blew us away with their talent and enthusiasm and I am really looking forward to working with them in future tournaments - and we have plenty coming up next year, such as the Davis Cup and the HK Nationals."
