After winning China’s first WTA singles title at Guangzhou Open in early October, Li Na (李娜) overcame Sun Tian Tian (孫甜甜) at the ITF Women’s Circuit Singles in Shenzhen yesterday. Apart from watching the terrific performance of the two ladies at the brand new Longgang Sports Centre (龍崗區體育中心), Mr. Kenneth Tsui, President of Hong Kong Tennis Association (HKTA), and Ms. Sun Jinfang (孫晉芳), Vice President of Chinese Tennis Association (CTA), exchanged views on tennis development and explored the chance to arrange a Hong Kong tour for the China’s team.

ITF Women’s Tennis Circuit (Shenzhen)
For the second year running in China, the US$50,000 ITF Women’s Tennis Circuit attracted 32 players from over 10 countries. Last year, the tournament was held in Changsha.
