On Day 5, Hong Kong proved themselves the better team in the first match of 5th to 8th playoff. They eliminated South Korea 2-1 and would play against China in the last match of the playoff on Day 6.

At last week’s Hong Kong ITF Junior Tennis Tournament, Hong Kong’s Eudice Chong claimed both singles and doubles titles, while Andrew Li and Tommy Lam entered their doubles final.
