Terms of Reference

• The Executive Committee is a standing committee of the HKTA Council and
  is empowered to exercise all the powers and perform all the duties of the
  Council on any matter within Council's jurisdiction where decisions are required
  to be made and actions taken between regularly scheduled Council Meetings
  or where specific responsibilities have from time to time been delegated to
  the Committee by the Council.
  
  
• It will also make decisions within the policies, strategies and agreed budget
  of the Council, conduct program evaluation and perform internal audit.
  
  
• The Committee shall assist in the development of agendas for HKTA Council
  Meetings and review recommendations from the President.
  
  
• It will make recommendations to the Council on matters of future policy,
  government and external relations, media policies, conflict of interest issues,
  strategic planning, funding and resource allocation, as well as on matters
  not assigned to other committees.
